LLM Connectors

Add Workerbee to Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini as a secure connector and rank your first candidates in about two minutes.

  1. Add the connector.

    Customize → Connectors → + → Add custom connector → paste https://mcp.workerbee.ai/api/v1/mcp → Add. Paste it exactly, including /api/v1 and the trailing /mcp.

    On Team/Enterprise, an owner adds it once under Organization settings → Connectors (Add → Custom → Web); everyone else then finds it waiting in Customize → Connectors.

  2. Connect your account.

    Click Connect on the Workerbee connector — a sign-in window opens, create your free account or sign in, then approve access. Leave Advanced settings alone — Workerbee registers itself, so there’s no client ID/secret to enter. This is a one-time step that lives in settings — asking Claude to connect in chat won’t trigger it.

  3. Ask your first question.

    Start a new conversation, turn Workerbee on from the + menu under Connectors, and ask:

    Hi Workerbee, who am I connected as?

    Runs in Claude on web/desktop, Free/Pro/Max/Team/Enterprise. In Claude Code, skip settings entirely:

    claude mcp add --transport http workerbee https://mcp.workerbee.ai/api/v1/mcp

    then /mcp to sign in.

  1. Turn on Developer mode.

    Settings → Security and login — web only, hidden by default. On Business/Enterprise/Edu a workspace admin may need to enable it org-wide first.

  2. Add Workerbee as a connector.

    Plugins page → + → name it Workerbee → paste https://mcp.workerbee.ai/api/v1/mcp. Leave authentication on OAuth — no API key/client secret to enter.

  3. Connect your account.

    Click Connect, sign in/create account, approve access. One-time, lives in settings.

  4. Ask your first question.

    Start a new conversation, enable Workerbee from the tools menu, and ask the same “who am I connected as?” question.

    Runs in ChatGPT web only, Pro/Plus/Business/Enterprise/Edu — not mobile, not the IDE extension (OpenAI’s limits, not Workerbee’s).

Admin-driven setup, then a per-user connect. Runs only in Gemini Enterprise, not the consumer Gemini app.

  1. Allow custom MCP connectors.

    Google Cloud console → Organization Policies → find “Disable custom MCP server connector for Gemini Enterprise” → override to Off, scoped to one project. Requires roles/orgpolicy.policyAdmin — not Project Owner, and not roles/recommender.orgPolicyAdmin, which looks similar but can’t do this.

  2. Configure an identity provider.

    Gemini Enterprise → Settings → Authentication → Add identity provider → Google Identity, mapped to lowercase email.

  3. Add Workerbee as a custom MCP data store.

    Data stores → Create → Custom MCP Server:

  4. Turn Workerbee’s tools on. Open the data store → Actions tab → Reload custom actions → select tools → Enable actions. Every action is off by default — easy to miss.
  5. Connect the data store to your app and authorize Gemini Enterprise if not already attached.
  6. Enable the web app and share the link. Integration → Enable the Web App → copy the link, send it to everyone who needs Workerbee (each person also needs roles/discoveryengine.agentspaceUser and a Gemini Enterprise seat).
  7. Each user connects their own account.

    Open the web app link → Connectors (bottom) → authenticate to Workerbee → ask:

    Actions require per-step confirmation and are capped at 100 per data store.
